We're looking for a Land Researcher to join our team. We operate across England and Wales from our head office in central Manchester, working on a range of residential, renewable energy and commercial development projects.

Over the last 15 years, we have worked alongside local authorities and our landowner partners to promote sites through local plans for residential development. Our projects range from just a handful of homes to significant urban extensions. More recently, we have begun working on renewable energy and commercial development projects too.

When we say our focus is always on quality, we really mean it – from providing a quality service to our landowner partners, to producing high quality development, and providing quality support to our other team members. Quality sits at the heart of everything we do.

We will show you how to use a variety of different data sources to identify potential new development sites by assessing technical and planning policy constraints. You will produce briefing notes on potentially suitable sites, directly target landowners to determine their interest in working with us and keep our site database updated. Where required, we will ask you to carry out more in-depth research and coordinate the production of specialist reports. That means you will need to be determined, with excellent attention to detail.

Over time, there is the opportunity for you to move into a land or planning focussed role, depending on your interests and skills.

In choosing new team members, we place more importance on you as an individual than we do on your technical knowledge – we can teach you that if we need to. We welcome applications from anyone who is excited by the prospect of working with us on strategic land projects.

We offer a range of benefits to our employees, including a minimum of 25 days holiday plus bank holidays, flexible start and finish times, hybrid and flexible working, auto-enrolment pension and support with professional membership fees and professional development.

We are an inclusive workplace that values diversity, and we welcome applicants from all backgrounds.

Further details of the role – and how to apply - can be found in the full job description.
