Coronavirus has had a significant impact on the UK economy, and the farming and agriculture sector is no exception. Traditional approaches to farm diversification like holiday lets, farm shops and camp sites have been particularly badly hit by the movement restrictions of lockdown.

As a result, many farming businesses are considering the sale of land for development as a way of generating much needed revenue. Yet selling a plot of land for development isn't as simple as you might first think.
