Our managing director, Paul Smith, will be speaking at Environment Analyst'sBrownfield Redevelopment: North 2019 conference on 13 November in Leeds.
Paul will be addressing: how to identify suitable sites; the planning hurdles you'll encounter; and how to set a planning strategy to overcome them - all with a focus on previously developed land.
At the beginning of his career, Paul spent 11 years working at a PLC house builder during which time he delivered housing developments on a large number of brownfield sites so he is well placed to cover those issues.
That experience also means that - unlike many land promotion companies - The Strategic Land Group will work with land owners to promote brownfield as well as greenfield sites through the planning system.
