Amounting to circa 5 acres, this greenfield site is located on the edge of Low Moor, a suburb of Clitheroe in Lancashire’s Ribble Valley.
The Strategic Land Group worked with the owners of the site to secure planning permission for 54 new homes despite initial objections from the Council to the proposal. Before taking the site to market, a number of technical issues relating to an area of landfill needed to be resolved, along with a legal problem relating to the site’s access.
Once these obstacles were overcome, the site was marketed and a deal agreed with Taylor Wimpey. The site was built out as Low Moor Gardens, with the last homes completed during the first half of 2015.
