Currently used for cattle grazing, this greenfield site of just under 12 acres is on the eastern edge of Abbots Bromley, in East Staffordshire. The council’s local development plan only covers the period until 2031 and is therefore likely to be replaced in the near future. The Strategic Land Group will be working with this site’s owners to promote it through that plan process.
The western part of the site is surrounded by existing houses, which would relate well to a new development, allowing new homes to be delivered in a way that is sensitive to the village's distinctive character. The eastern part of the site is bisected by Ash Brook and will be the focus for a new open space and habitat creation to ensure the site’s ecological value is enhanced.
