Shortly before Christmas, the government proposed a number of changes to the National Planning Policy Framework (NPPF), many of which related to the delivery of new homes.
Among them was a new requirement for the right homes to be built in the right places - a truism that we can all get behind.

The result is likely to be a dramatic reduction in the supply of new homes.
In his latest piece for Housing Today our managing director, Paul Smith, explains why the changes are so bad.
